Micah Ann Ramey Lewis, affectionately known as “Mikie”, of Indianapolis, Indiana, was born to the late Robert E. Ramey and the late Ernestine Milton Ramey on July 28, 1947. She departed this life on June 18, 2016 at the age of 68.

Micah attended Wayne County Schools in Richmond, Indiana. She later moved to Denver, Colorado where she retired from the Aurora Public School Transportation Office. After retiring, she moved to Indianapolis. 

Family and friends were Micah’s passion and delight. She loved serving the Lord and attending church, helping out wherever there was a need.  She knew no strangers. She enjoyed her dogs, Sam, Campbell and the late Pete.

Micah was a member of Christ Apostolic Church of Denver and later joined New Wineskin Church after moving to Indianapolis. 

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, James “Baby Huey” Ramey, and her sisters, Theresa “Sissy” Satterfield and Patricia “Patty Jo” Foote.

She is survived by: her husband, Timothy Lewis, of Denver, Colorado; her children, Michael Lee (Angela) Moore of Columbia, South Carolina, Mark Devlin Moore and Monica Ann Moore of Denver, Colorado, and Matthew Allen (Andi) Moore of Richmond, Indiana; seven grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert E. (Karen) Ramey of Indianapolis, Indiana; special twin aunties, Carolyn Hunt and Marilyn Brown, both of Indianapolis, Indiana; and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, many loving friends and Momma Odessa.
