Marvin Tucker was born January 2, 1962 in Columbia, South Carolina to Frank and Leola Tucker. He passed away December 27, 2017.

Marvin attended school in Jersey City, New Jersey. In 1979, he moved back to Columbia to pursue his career at the State Park Mental Hospital and at Fort Jackson.

“Tuck”, as he was affectionately known, enjoyed spending time with his family, listening to music, dancing, and most of all, sharp dressing. Marvin will truly be missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his parents, Frank and Leola Tucker; sisters: Marilyn Tucker, Linda (Sylvester) Sumpter, Diane Chilsom, Beverly (Robert Bligen) Tucker, Audrey Tucker, Kashanda Jackson, and Thomasina (Anthony) Winson; brothers: Benjamin (Eliza) Jones, Sylvester (Linda) Tucker, Jermaine Jackson, and Eric Jackson; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives, and dear friends.
