Johnathan A. Kimble took his first big breath in this world on March 20, 1984 at Richland Memorial Hospital (now Palmetto Health Richland) in Columbia, South Carolina. He was the son of LaTashia A. Kimble-Dodson.

Johnathan attended Richland Northeast High School. He later received his GED and a plumbing license from Job Corps. At a young age, Johnny, as he was affectionately known, developed a love for adventure which he showed in Boy Scout Troop 202. He had a one of kind laugh that will truly be missed. He defiantly had a heart of gold and would literally give someone the shirt off his back.

Johnathan was a talented artist and musician. He shared a love for all things music. God gave him the gift to play any instrument by ear, the guitar being his favorite.

Johnny departed this earthly life on May 9, 2017. He is survived by his mother and father, LaTashia and Thomas Dodson, son, sisters, brother, nieces, nephew, a host of cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents and loving friends.
