John Lewis Geiger, Jr. was born February 10, 1979 in Lexington, South Carolina. He was the beloved son of John Sr. and Linda Geiger. The Lord called John home on Sunday, April 30, 2017.

John attended schools in Spartanburg, South Carolina, and finished his formal education in the Lexington County School District.

He had an entrepreneurial spirit and was a gifted computer and electronics technician. His forward thinking and his ability to be tech-savvy led him to open his own business, Wall Mountain, LLC in Columbus, Ohio, where he proudly employed 27 technicians. His business acumen and his for passion for his work quickly led to the expansion of his company in the cable and technology industries. Family and friends knew of his expertise and would frequently call on him to help them troubleshoot their technology and electronics problems.

John enjoyed spending time with his family, engaging in conversation and being of service to others. He will be fondly remembered for his infectious laugh and his captivating smile.

In 2013, John found the Lord. He happily shared his experience with several of his closest family and friends. He spoke of how he asked the Lord to come into his presence, and how he immediately felt God’s presence being revealed to him. John would say, “I know I’ve met God. I know because He touched me.” John attended The Vineyard Church in Columbus, Ohio.

Left to cherish many fond memories are his parents, John Sr. and Linda Geiger of Irmo, South Carolina; his fiancée, Marica Phipps, and her children that he loved as his own: Nicholas, Alexis and Amaya, all of Columbus, Ohio; and two sisters, Monique (Albert) Greer of McDonough, Georgia and Adria (Michael Perry) Geiger of Miami, Florida. He also leaves six uncles: Charles (Janice) Geiger of Columbia, South Carolina, Wade (Apostle Eunice) Lorick of Irmo, South Carolina, Curtis (Linda) Geiger of Charlotte, North Carolina, Donald (Cynthia) Lorick of West Columbia, South Carolina, Clifford Lorick of Irmo, South Carolina and Ronald (Barbara) Lorick of Columbia, South Carolina; five aunts: Anita Geiger of Columbia, South Carolina, Marguerite (Ronnie) Reeves of Irmo, South Carolina, Audrey (Michael) Williams of Columbia, South Carolina, Pamela Ringer of Lexington, South Carolina and Meredith (Heyward) Eskew of Irmo, South Carolina; and a host of grand aunts and uncles, cousins, other loving relatives and dear friends.
