Joel Turner, Jr., 44, was born September 28, 1973 in Washington, DC to Shirley Turner and the late Joel Turner, Sr. He departed this earthly life on Friday, November 24, 2017.

He was a member of Mt. Zion A.M.E Church in McCormick. He was a graduate of Calhoun Falls High School. He was employed by Brunstein Von Seelen in Abbeville, South Carolina.

Joel loved fishing and football. His favorite teams were the Clemson Tigers and the Denver Broncos. But, more than anything, he loved being at home spending time with his family.

He leaves to forever cherish special memories, his wife, Ardreika Pratt Turner; daughter, A’Bria Bryant of Calhoun Falls, South Carolina; two stepdaughters, I’vion and I’Vionna Hardy, and two stepsons, Si’Keljon Hardy and Demetric Anderson, Jr, all of the home; and his mother, Shirley Turner of Greenwood, South Carolina. He also leaves to mourn his passing, two brothers, Neal Turner of Calhoun Falls, South Carolina and Emmanuel (Rachel) Blair of Greenwood, South Carolina; paternal grandfather, Ulysses Blair; and a host of other loving relatives and dear friends.

In addition to his father, Joel was predeceased by his paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Blair, and maternal grandparents, J.R. and Beatrice Turner.
