George Tolbert, IV was born August 24, 1979 in Columbia, SC to Ms. Constance Howell and George Tolbert, III. He was called home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at his home surrounded by loved ones.

George, also known as “J. J.” graduated from Irmo High School in 1998. He gave his life to Christ at an early age. Before moving to Georgia, he was a member of Bible Way on Piedmont Avenue and was under the leadership of Bishop Roy Belton. George was a devoted and loving son and brother who captivated the hearts of everyone who met him. George also had a smile that would light up the world.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Arthur Howell and step-father, Robert H. Fordham.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory his mother, Constance Howell of Lawrenceville, Georgia; brothers, Travis (Mona) Tolbert of Saratoga, Arkansas and Christian Forbes of Lawrenceville, Georgia; maternal grandmother, Ms. Gladys Howell of Nashville, Arkansas; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and other loving relatives and dear friends.
