Mr. Edmond W. House was born November 29, 1940 in Manning, South Carolina. He was the beloved son of the late Nathaniel House and Gussie Hilton Wright.  After a brief illness, he was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at the home of his companion and loved ones.

He was affectionately known as “Buck-O” or “House”, by his friends and Edmond by his family. He attended the public schools of Richland County. He also attended Catholic school.

He worked numbers of construction jobs throughout his life.

Mr. House joined the Chappelle Memorial A.M.E Church. Though he is no longer physically with us, his loving and kind spirit will forever live in the hearts and lives of all who loved and knew him.

Those who will cherish fond and precious memories of Edmond are his two daughters, Valerie House of Gaston South Carolina and Wilma Goins of Blythewood South Carolina; son, Darryl House of Greenville South Carolina; his companion, Laverne Myers of Blythewood South Carolina, and her children and grandchildren; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of loving cousins, other relatives, and dear friends, all of whom join the family in sharing the grief caused by his departure.
