Ms. Deborah Ann Quattlebaum was called home to join her heavenly Father on July 31, 2017, after a long, valiant fight with cancer. She was born February 27, 1962 in Ballentine, South Carolina to Marvie L. Quattlebaum and the late Henry Quattlebaum, Jr.

Deborah graduated from Irmo High School and, for many years, worked for Richland School District One from where she retired. She was an amazing daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and cousin. She was always full of laughter and good times.

She leaves to cherish precious memories and special moments: her three children: Janet (Torry) Stevenson, James Bowers and Marvie (Bernard) Bell; her goddaughter, Alandra Jamison; her grandchildren: Jovon, Jada, Kayon, Bernaja, Mari’yona, Jalesa, James Jr. and James III; and her mother, Marvie L. Quattlebaum. She also leaves to mourn her passing: three sisters: Gloria (Ada), Margaret and Eve (Johnny); four brothers: Charlie (Patricia), Earnest, Russell and Henry III; and a host of loving nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts, uncles and dear friends.

Deborah was predeceased by: her father Henry Quattlebaum, Jr., paternal grandparents, Henry and Eva Quattlebaum, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Benjamin and Eleven Lyles; a special friend, Rosco Mark Middleton; and a sister-in-law, Doreen Quattlebaum.
