Clara Mae Pryor

Ms. Clara M. Pryor was born October 8, 1941 in Summerton, SC to the late Carrie Mae and Elliot Robbinson. She departed her life on March 16, 2018.

Clara was raised in Columbia, SC and graduated from Booker T. Washington School. She spent years housekeeping from which she retired having worked at Tremont Hotel for 30 years. She took care of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, all of whom will truly miss her.

She was preceded in death by: her late husband: Mr. Charlie Bill Pryor; sons: Robert lee Pryor and Larry W. Pryor; and sisters: Louise Jones, Mert Coleman-Brown, and Aline Rust.

Clara leaves to cherish her memories: her son: Charlie Bill Pryor Jr.; daughter: Dorothy Pryor (Charles) Chapman; sisters: Nancey Goodwin, and Carolyn Macon; brothers: James Robbinson and Herbert Robbinson; grandchildren: Robert Norris, Eric Norris, Larry Pryor, Mary Norris, Tosha Pryor, Joseph Pryor, Terrace Pryor, and Shawnietta McCaster; great grandchildren, and a host of cousins, nephews, nieces, and other relatives and friends.
