Mr. Capers Govan, Jr. was born December 6, 1943 in Cameron SC to the late Lucas Barton and Sadie Govan. He passed away on June 1, 2017 at Palmetto Health Richland in Columbia, SC. He was 73.

Mr. Govan is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Govan; his sons, Gregory and Cosry Govan; his stepdaughter, Ticniko Newton; his grandchildren, sisters, other loving relatives and friends, all of whom will miss him dearly.
