Calvin Campbell, Sr. was born September 19, 1963 in Lugoff, South Carolina. He was the beloved son of the late Frank Campbell, Jr. and Marie Porter-Campbell. He quietly passed away at the age of 54, at the William Jennings Dorn VA Medical Center.

Calvin, affectionately known as “Bootie” or “Bootleg”, attended Camden High School in Camden, South Carolina. After completion of high school, he went on to enlist in the United States Army, serving from 1981 to 1991 before being honorably discharged.

Mr. Campbell is survived by his loving fiancée of seven years, Shirley of the home; son, Calvin (Kiera) Campbell, Jr.; daughter, Jayden A. Campbell; three sisters: Dorothy M. Campbell, Rosa M. Campbell, and Luanna (Mack) Lyles; twin brother, Kavin (Lorie) Campbell, all of Camden, South Carolina; and a host of nieces and nephews all of whom will miss him dearly.

In addition to his parents, Calvin was predeceased by his sister, Christine Campbell; and baby boy Campbell.
