Mr. Anthony Jerome Taylor was born July 9, 1963 in Columbia, South Carolina. He was the son of the late Timothy Hubert Taylor and Johnnie Mae Taylor. He departed this earthly journey on Monday March 20, 2017 at Providence Hospital.

Anthony was a 1981 graduate of W.J. Keenan High School. Jerome had a love for cooking on the grill, regardless of the weather. For more than thirty years, he cooked in many restaurants. He most recently worked at J. Peters Bar and Grill, Cooper River Grille and Quaker Steak and Lube, all of which are located in Columbia, South Carolina. His favorite NFL team was the Philadelphia Eagles. His one-of-a-kind laugh and high spirit for life itself will truly be missed by all of those who knew and loved him. He also enjoyed a quiet day at home with video games on his day off from work.

He was predeceased by his father, Mr. Timothy Hubert Taylor, and his son, Marcus Antonio Wilson.

Those left to cherish his memories include his mother, Mrs. Johnnie Mae Taylor of Columbia, South Carolina; two sons, Justin Hollins, and Jeremiah Lewis Taylorl one brother, Norbert Timothy (Zenobia) Taylor of Columbia, South Carolina; three aunts: Elizabeth Taylor, Catherine Prioleau and Patricia Cain; and nephews, one niece, a host of other loving relatives and many friends.
